Rules!

Rules:
1) Okay,this is a given.. be nice to each other,okay? We all know that C&C doesn't mean 'tell me my art sucks and I shouldn't be drawing', so do me a favor, and just be courteous to all the artists here, because we're all just here to enjoy what we love doing, and get some help improving too ^^

2) I'd like it if people took a little time on their pics, though..I think a 20 minute time limit is fair enough... I don't mind if you break this every now and then, but don't do 3 minute doodles every single time you log in. (this is because I know you work very hard on your pictures, and it isn't fair to those who are working hard and recieving no comments because their drawing was pushed off the page by a doodle)

3) Mature content is fine, just put it under that label, not all of us want to see it.. and try not to be too graphic.(Mature content = anything you wouldn't want your boss/mom/teacher/dog to see you looking at.. namely naked(or almost naked)people, extreme blood and gore, promiscuousness..(you know,the basic things that might possibly make a sixth grader giggle fiendishly)

4)I'd appreciate it if you don't flood the board with pictures.. 3 drawings per day,please!

5)I've given Upload Access back to all active users. Please upload ONLY pictures drawn by YOU, on an oekaki applet. <3 I've run into problems with this before, and if it happens again, those who argue over it and start any sort of immature flame wars WILL be warned. If you continue, you'll be banned. Sorry, guys, but I'm just trying to keep the peace.
If you find you do not have upload access, send a note to Lj and he'll fix it right up!

Guidelines:
If you want your pictures to be critiqued, please specify that you do. If anyone wants to improve, ask for help. Don't be offended if someone just says 'ooh, pretty and nice, I'm sorry, but can't think of any crits'. They're not trying to offend, they're probably either nervous about giving crits or just honestly don't know what to say. We're all a family here, no matter how much we know-or don't know about each other. We need to learn to coexist, and ask plainly for what we would like to hear/see. No one can read minds. If you wouldn't like crits, you can ask not to have any. If you honestly could care less, don't worry about saying anything about Comments or crits, just do whatever. That will make it easier for commenters and critics to help out in whatever way they want. It will also hopefully do away with any tension. Don't forget mine and Lj's virtual doors are always open to comments, suggestions, and questions. (death threats, etc. can be sent to Lj) ^_^;

Just a reminder from Lj : Pictures that you decide to safety save, only remain in the database from 10 DAYS from your last edit or save. After this they are automatically deleted and cannot be retrieved. Please keep this in mind if you decide to safety save.
